I think Baylor just scored again! ---- I thought I couldn't get any madder than after the UNI travesty this year - but this crap?!? - I truly didn't expect to beat BU, but as has already been mentioned, the total ineptitude of this team, especially on O, is unbelievable! When given a 2nd or 3rd and 1 and you continue to run 170lb running backs right up the middle? That kind of play calling, week in and out is frustrating!:realmad:

Most of the people on message boards should apologize to Rhoads for their entitlement. It amazes me how people on here constantly say that the fans have stepped up and the team has not. Our tailgating and game experience is great and will continue to be win or loose. Everyone knew going into the season that it would be a rough one. With the exception of tonight, every game has been close and very fun to watch. College football is entertainment and our Clones have delivered on the entertainment. If you can't figure that out stay home. And while you are at it stay way from CF because all you are doing is making our future recruits think you are all the voice of CyclONE nation when actually you are the very silent minority.

1. Fans are entitled to a season that isnt complete and utter crap. Fans have continually increased their commitment to the department, and the amount they are paying, both individually and as a collective are at an all time high as judged by the increasing number of donors in higher levels and the increasing number of season tickets sold. The line has always been 'we need your support so we can do better'. The fans have responded overwhelmingly, but the program has a long way to go to match what the fans have done, and its getting nearer to the 'put up or shut up' point.

2.You say every game but baylor has been close, and yes, it has in the final score at least. But our schedule has consisted of a loss to an FCS team that is now on a 3 game losing streak, a win against a damn awful tulsa team, and the iowa loss only finished close due to us putting up garbage time points. It was 27-7 halfway through the 4th. The lone bright spot is the Texas loss that should have been a win.

I AM SO PROUD TO BE A S*IT football coach but will pull a meaningless upset here and there to help our fan base be delusional in thinking we may be making progress when in reality we are a continual laughing stock in college football. Tonight is an all time low. My dad and I have decided to quit donating to Iowa State football until a change is made (Fire Messingham) until then I will show up to games to support the players but REFUSE to support this coaching staff. Nut up and do whats best for this program Paul, I dont care that Messingham and YOUR WORTHLESS offensive staff is buddy buddy. I'm not going to spend money on this crap. This fan base sells out season tickets and this is what you give in return. Screw you Rhoads

I don't get it: why is it okay to suck if we expected to suck? Because we're meeting expectations?

Rhoads better be on the first bus to JUCO City tomorrow AM.

I agree with you and Corey thee Mess had better be on the first bus out of town when this season ends. JUCO's sure work for tx tech and bill Snyder, maybe we should adopt their style of recruiting because at this rate no one is going to want to buy football tickets next year...Sad But True.....

That performance was so bad that Rhoads needs to apologize to the dead.

Speaking of the Dead....I can just imagine Dave Hoppmann and Dexter Green turning over in their graves if they ever saw this fiasco of a game..

Go Cyclones beat the Cowpokes.....
