Yeah - I get it. The joke is supposed to be that the NFL endorses/promotes elevator violence. So a woman gets knocked out in an elevator, many feel like the NFL drops the ball and this guy finds a punchline about it in a very serious presser?
Wrong place, wrong time for sure.
The beauty of this (from what I've gathered in the past 10 minutes), is that Stern says that he doesn't get knowledge of these pranks beforehand (he's done them before) and claims he wouldn't approve them if he did. Yet this guy remains employed by Stern. Bit if a pot/kettle situation.
It's called plausible deniability. He doesn't tell him to do pranks but doesn't get rid of him either.
