hasn't been said yet...but there have been rumors that Boston wants Barnes...IF they trade up for Barnes (they have 2 first round picks, 21 and 22) What would people think if Barnes and Royce both went to Boston?

Just something to think about...would be interesting to see the reaction if it happened.

You sure about that? If he was being sarcastic, then I take it back, but I'm not sure that he was.

I suppose I'm not certain, but if sarcasm was not the case, then cycloneSOULja's post was the dumbest I've ever read.

I'm pretty sure Minnesota was the last place he worked out before he started canceling all his workouts. I'm not saying, I'm just saying....

Minnesota perhaps? I know they pick 18th and he could have possibly gone higher, but it's been made obvious that's the team he wants to play for

If a team really told him they'd take him if he's available, I'd put my money on that.

The 18th pick range, home town, and Hoiberg connection all make sense.

Even with Love, the TWolves need a guy with upside to make themselves relevant, they need somebody who could potentially become a star. At 18th Royce will be as good or better than any other options in terms of upside.

SI's draft projection was Fab Melo and Royce to the Celts at 21 and 22. I'd get behind that in a heartbeat, but I'd kinda like Garnett to stay for a year or two more so he can learn from him.

they probably have to give up both picks to move up, plus a player. probably the two picks and Allen or Garnett.

I have no idea how things work on the back end (GMs talking, agents, etc), but like some have said you'd think it'd be helpful to do as many workouts as possible as you never know if some trades/shifting could occur near or on draft day. Again, maybe there is a back end to it all as many agents represent multiple players, etc and their word to/from GMs is solid.

Either way, great to hear Royce's stock keeps rising. The rumor it is the Celtics is cool too. Not sure if the "big 3" will stay intact, but Boston is a playoff team and a well managed organization. Selfishly, I was hoping for the T-wolves so I could buzz up to Minneapolis sometime to see Royce play.

On a side note, my wife saw Royce at Target yesterday. She'd met him before and Royce was excited to see her/my daughters. My wife was embarrassed as it was near the underwear section and she said, "I wonder if he gets tired of people seeing him/talking to him." I told her I think he really embraces his opportunity to be a fan favorite, etc....such a genuine young man. I used to work at K-State during the Beasley/Bill Walker time...BELIEVE ME, they were not this way.

One more side note, this is purely my perspective, but if he is picked the same as Brackins (21st)...it's amazing to me the impact Royce had in one year vs Brackins three years...meaning, I think in 5 years people will still really be talking about Royce...maybe not Craig....and I say that with complete respect to Brackins and all he did here...and understanding Royce was on a winning team, etc. Just a reminder of the impact...and I would bet we see Royce around here a lot at future functions, etc.

Ramble done.

The passing combos on some of the teams listed in this thread are making my head spin.

On the Celtics, Rondo and Royce
On the Twolves, Rubio and Royce.

So many no look passes!!!
