For whatever his past sins, it looks like he's trying to move on with his life...nothing wrong with that. At least he's doing something productive with himself and isn't wasting away in a cell somewhere.

What could have been with him, Victor Alexander and Mark Baugh all on the same team....

Obviously, the guy has had some trouble. But I'll always remember him being the nicest player when we would go get autographs after the games. He'd be the guy that would talk to kids and happily take pictures---he'd make a special effort to move somewhere where the background would be good.

Guess i I struggle to see what's wrong with it, looks like he is busy and successful, dude had an nba pension so he's doing fine.

What at happened here was 25 years ago and he was 19.

I like Sam Mack. And I think it's cool he played basketball so late in life. He represents something about the history of Ames to me like a lot of former cyclones do. I would happily write a less desperate and sad linked in page for him if he wanted. Hell, I would be behind bringing him back to Hilton and hugging it out with Cyclone Nation. But I do think it makes way more sense to tease a 40 something former Cyclone about his poorly worded work history than it does to rip on our current underclassmen while they develop their skills in from of us.
