Don’t discount the Cyclones fans/ISU alumni that live outside of Iowa that are watching. Are SDSU grads watching? I’ve heard they mostly don’t care.
When I lived in L.A., I talked the local sports bar into opening early for our televised games. It was awesome. In at 9:00am, out by 11:30/12:00ish and the rest of the day at the beach. SWEET. BUT, OH the locals didn't have it so sweet. They had to 'choose'. And college sports only won out over the ... let's just say ... less outdoorsy type of people.
