Drake? How many of those games have been against an opponent this bad? Don't be shocked if we win by more than you doom & glooms are expecting.

I was told that is different. The weather only impacted us.Drake?
Ah yes, that's right. It was the weather, which only affected one team and has no bearing in an endless trend of Campbell teams playing down to lower level competition.I was told that is different. The weather only impacted us.
2 FGs or missed XP?We all know this thing will be 20-14 going into the 4th quarter.
2 FG's because I'm an optimist2 FGs or missed XP?
Heacock was Campbells DC i thought.SEMO’s head coach was also Campbell’s defensive coordinator at Toledo so there is obviously some familiarity.
Yes, terrible weather conditions level the playing field. That's blatantly obvious to anyone who's watched football for more than 1-2 years. There's a reason we used to hope for bad weather whenever we played Texas, OU or those good Baylor and TCU and Oklahoma State teams.Ah yes, that's right. Hmm. I remember playing Mack Brown and Texas in Chizik's first year in absolute slop and still losing by 50.Yes, terrible weather conditions level the playing field. That's a quality study. Sample size of one from a game over a decade ago.Hmm. I remember playing Mack Brown and Texas in Chizik's first year in absolute slop and still losing by 50.
Well EVERYONE with a brain knows that rain levels the playing field. That's a quality study. Sample size of one from a game over a decade ago.

I'm not sure why people are so reluctant to admit that Campbell teams have been crappy against FCS competition. There's a really firmly established pattern. You can find excuses for any given instance, but the fact remains that in 5 games against FCS schools, there has been one win 6+ point win.Well, the poster I replied to specifically said September games. Even still, yes, if you want to hang your hat on ONE bad performance in **** conditions, go for it.
How many teams were those 6 games against?I'm not sure why people are so reluctant to admit that Campbell teams have been crappy against FCS competition. There's a really firmly established pattern. I would love nothing more than to just blast SEMO and have a nice comfy W, but we have a large enough sample size at this point to conclude there's no real reason to expect it.
This is a 45-7 type game that may not even feel that close.
Correct. Especially freezing rain, ice and mud.Well EVERYONE with a brain knows that rain levels the playing field.
