This team is pretty much the perfect fit for a post transfer. Major conference, top point guard, major playing time available. I'm cautiously optimistic that we will land one of the top post transfers this offseason.

it is not really a "town" where they are from. It is a city of 750,000 people. I hope Naz knows him, but not likely. So the only connection is more than likely just a common place and not a personal connection.
I think he was the Big West Player of the Year on what ended up being a pretty good Hawai'i team.

I would opine that we have zero inside height and could use this guy all day long. If scolis are an issue then I vote to remove Cooke. I watched him all year and wondered why he was even given a scholarship? If Ernst cannot go then he needs to go as well - having a bench of non-players killed us this year. No point in stringing it along another year. Lack of inside size will not get us 25+ wins as some have predicted with a 3 guard offense - it will get you crushed on boards and double digit losses. Go get somebody other than the benchwarmers we currently have.
A guy can dream right? If we were to land him and Malou is the one and done type talent some seem to think would this be the most explosive offense in ISU history?

I don't think he'd be bad, but I don't think he'd be the savior many of you are hoping for, either.
If you didn't like McKay on defense at the 5 this year, it'd be even worse with Jankovic. And it seemed like any time Hawaii played a bigger conference team, he'd immediately be on the bench because he picked up stupid fouls quicker than even Niang.
Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely take him. But I don't think he's the missing link some of you think he would be, either.

McKay was OK on defense it was his rebounding that was trash against good teams.
If it takes a kid 4 years to get through Juco, he'd be a one to play one SENIOR.
Sometimes Jucos are Seniors. Richard Armadi was a Senior Juco. He only had 1 year eligibility.
