I like reading their complaints about the officiating. With the games being called without UT favoritism, their entitlement is showing. Think it is bad this year wait until they have to face Bama.
Especially coming from a school that successfully lobbied to get Horns Down as an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty

they aren't wrong about the conference

if you don't think ISU is looking for a life boat out of this new conference you are on drugs
Very interesting to assess the negative vs positive emoticons. Pretty evenly split. Your patronizing aside, any/all schools are always looking for their best interests. And, as so many have argued on this site, the variables are too dynamic at this point to reach a conclusion. And, even more so, the period of 'assessing' the decision will vary widely. So, let's check back on your position in 5,10, and 15 years and see where things are at.

Texas has fallen to the level of Nebraska.

Hey, we suck and are completely irrelevant at football... but look at our shiny conference that we don't contribute to.
Oh, they'll contribute. Losses that is, thus boosting the already overinflated, monopolistic, practices of boosting their conferences image.

Did one of those posters actually accuse the refs of helping ISU? That's more delusional than thinking they are still relevant. Maybe that can get the monkey off their back with a more manageable SEC schedule.

Texas will be somewhere between Vanderbilt and Mississippi State in that conference. They’re going to walk in, act like they’re Alabama or Georgia, and get embarrassed. Texas can’t even garner more in conference wins over the past four years than a program like Iowa State. Texas doesn’t need help recruiting. They already bring in top tier talent each year. That’s not their problem. Their problem is they have a lousy culture with no heart anymore. They’ve turned into the rich, lazy family member that took over a company after daddy handed it to them, and are driving it into the ground. Horns down. Texas sux cox ‘n dix.

I could maybe argue the call on that fumble early in the game, but that is it.

From Burnt Orange Nation's recap article. Fans are gonna run Sark out of town before the season ends.

The four-consecutive blown halftime leads are the most in the FBS in the last 15 seasons — the issues for first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian are historic after Texas fired Tom Herman following a 7-3 campaign and a tenure that never featured the type of defeats that have happened multiple times this season.

Herman never lost as badly as Texas lost to Arkansas. Herman never lost as badly as Texas lost to Iowa State. Herman never blew a 21-point lead like Texas did against Oklahoma. Herman never blew an 14-point lead like Texas did against Oklahoma State. Herman never blew an 11-point lead like Texas did against Baylor.

So you agree Texas is doing intentional harm to ISU and other schools.

Curious, what other magical conference will ISU join? Big Ten will NEVER add ISU, and if you think Iowa wants us there instead of in the wilderness like the Hayden Fry years you are mistaken.

The new Big12 will be just fine moving forward, probably 3rd best conference after SEC and then Big Ten. And, we won't have to deal with being held hostage like we have for decades.

Another gem from that article:

The Longhorns finished the game with 207 total yards in one of the worst offensive performances in recent memory, truly a low point in program history after more than a decade of abject mediocrity — the last time Texas had fewer total yards was against Notre Dame in 2015, when the 163 yards produced by play caller Shawn Watson ended his tenure after a wasted offseason.

I'm not sure if Sark will make it three years at Texas. At least Herman did well in bowl games.

Hoo boy...they really have no conception of how every SEC team is going to treat them. Every road game there will be at the level of Iowa State's fans...they will be "that team from Texas" scheduled by all to be their homecoming opponent.
