Texas and OU can EABAD's. Their fans feel they are "anointed" and deserve the king $hit status. In the SEC, they certainly will not need any additional trophy cases.

I met an insufferable OU fan in Vegas in Sept... whining about how hard they have it, and playing 11:00 am games every week. What a douche canoe.

The only thing Texas is good at is paying off failed coaching hires.

OU is more than happy to take TV money, but fails to understand what their TV partners value

Sure getting a great prime time matchup brings great ratings. But as FOX has shown with it's 11am game, capture fans at 11 and some are too lazy to change the channel til 10p.

No one will ever convince me that blowing the lead to ISU last year wasn’t the final straw. Win that game and they keep Herman and play OU for the Big 12 title.

And if Lattrell Bankston doesn't sack Sam Ellinger for 3 yard loss, TX probably makes the field goal to tie and who knows what happens in OT.

And if Herman is still there, Texas is probably better this year and would be better positioned for SEC than they are now.

I think it will help it. Just like UCF joining will help Florida recruiting.
