If the fix is in, why didn't the conference refs figure out a way for BU to beat OU tonight
I'm guessing a 1-loss OU or an undefeated OSU is exactly what the conference wants...for several reasons...
That said, I'm not on the conspiracy bandwagon.

If the tip of the ball hits the ground and then the ball moves, it's incomplete. And that's what the replay showed.
Incorrect, the ball can move the ground just can't help the WR make the catch.
There's no way to tell from the still photo that the ball hit the ground (it looked like it was hovering in that one) and the ball can hit the ground if you are in control of it prior to hitting (he was). Yes, the ball came loose at some point during his roll, but there was absolutely no definitive evidence that the ground caused this. 9 out of 10 times, the call on the field would stand.
Wrong. If the ball hits the ground while making a catch, the ball must not shift positions like it did. I know you all want to blame it on the refs, but it was the correct call.
I was at the game last night. Admittedly, I was furious with the officiating.
Now, I have not seen the tv replays of the controversial calls. With a night's sleep here's my opinion. I think all games have "bad" calls. The most simple and logical explaination is Iowa State over a sustained period of time just isn't at a point where they can either take advantage of a "bad" call in their favor or overcome one against them.
Remember the 2011 Ok State game and the contiversial field goal? We got a close call in our favor and ISU took advantage of it.
Does that call get overturned if OSU was on offense or does it stand. Statistics would probably show the call would stand. OSU has been on the receiving end of countless questionable calls all season where they benefitted greatly.
It's amazing that so many people on here still come in with the attitude of "Bad calls happen to everyone you just have to overcome them."
Do bad calls happen to everyone in every game. Yup.
But if you can't see the obvious missed calls, wrong calls, wrong spots and other complete BS that officials in the big 12 do on a regular basis that favor certain teams you are just being ignorant. It isn't just a scandal against ISU. It's a scandal against any team that isn't who they want to win at any given time.

Adversity hits in every walk of life. How does one handle it when it does is what separates winners from losers. Our football team, along with a large population of our fan base, handles it very poorly. We had every opportunity to win the game. We couldn't get it done. I see posts and tweets saying they won't little old Iowa state win. ********. I guarantee we could have marched down the field on either of the last 2 drives and punched it in for a game winner.
Control what you can control-i.e. Not the officiating. I really hope our staff and players aren't crying like most of the fans cause if they are-we won't ever have a winning record. Winners overcome problems. Losers succumb to them.
Why there isn't an overhead system to see where the ball stops is beyond me. Refs clearly placing ball a few feet either side of progress. For such a technical game it's a crap shoot.

Umm look at the score. This is actually why they lost the game, albeit it coaches never should of let it get that close, but it IS the reason.
