We showed those sick kids that we are NOT second fiddle in the state of Iowa!

And if anyone has seen any of the coverage from the hospital, you see many Iowa State Cyclone shirts and jerseys in the shots in the hospital.

But gotta score hawk hate points at every opportunity!

The reason the wave works so well and is so cool at Kinnick is the same reason it wouldn't have worked very well at JTS today.

If you can't see the difference between the two you're a lost cause.

The wave is a fine gesture by Iowa but you know what would be a better gesture for Iowa fans to the families in the hospital? To let the parents of the kids in the hospital to actually park in the parking ramp on gamedays. They literally kick them out of the parking ramp for game days. That imo is bush league by both the hospital and the university and super crappy to do to people who actually need the parking.

Is this really true? That's pathetic if it is

Were you in JTS today? I'm guessing that's a solid NO.

Immediately following the first quarter, we had a performance from a group of cheerleader girls who had developmental disabilities that was pretty moving. It would have been quite the **** move if anyone was completely ignoring them and waving to the sky.

As I'd expect, our fanbase gave them the biggest applause of the day.

That applause was apparently a huge middle finger to sick kids.

WHAM-O!! I want everyone to make sure to read this. Gameday at Kinnick makes it really really rotten for the people trying to get in and out of the hospital. If you disagree with this then you have no clue. Anyone who has witnessed the ****** treatment patients and visitors get who go to UIHC on game day knows how shockingly awful the home games are to everyone at the hospital.

Well it is true. Like I said maybe it changed from a few years ago. But it was in fact the way they handled gameday parking at Kinnick.
I work at UIHC. I assure you and any a-hole doubters it is still bad. They have eased up some in recent years, but I still meet patients and visitors who are quite traumatized with the difficulties of getting to the hospital on gameday.
