B) I didnt bail on the team, I asked how we went from 2 big wins to 2 big losses, and started tonights game looking even worse than the previous losses

Starting a thread about the wheels coming off at halftime is a full-on bail on the team. Just giving up on a game... that's at HILTON! Never thought I would see that on CyFan but that's what two close losses will get you I guess.

You guys need to enjoy the win. He made a knee jerk reaction. It certainly looked like the season was spiraling out of control after the first half. You are a liar if you thought we'd come back

Guess I am a liar.

We were playing at Hilton. I knew we would get it down to single digits. At that point if we get a little luck, maybe a 3 and a turnover, we are right back in it. We got a little luck and a lot of #HiltonMagic tonight.

He must be new here.

I'm absolutely done with this team. Done. Pack it in and let's watch Tennis. This is embarrassing on our homecourt. I'm not saying a comeback can't happen but from what I see out there we are scared, frail and nothing our Fred can do is gonna change it. We are softer than a rotten banana. We miss #3 and #50 like its no ones business. No leadership.

where is this clown at now?

They must have found a tire shop and got the best tires and rims money can buy.

Threads like these are why I wait until after the game ends to talk about things like this. No worries though, all is forgiven. We are all Cyclone fans and we all thought we were in serious trouble.

At halftime, we asked the five year old girl that sits in front of us if the Cyclones were going to win, and SHE said "You bet!". I think maybe we could learn something from that.

I didn't stop chewing my knuckles until the last possession...but damned if they didn't come through for us!

Proud of our Cyclones tonight...they didn't quit. :)

For those of you saying "Good job, captain Hindsight" and all that, it wasn't exactly a wild thing to believe ISU could come back. Oklahoma has already blown huge leads on the road this year. They lost to Creighton(!!!) after taking an 18 point lead. Last year's ISU team made a habit of winning from behind. At halftime I told my family it wasn't over yet. Granted, I wasn't flat-out predicting a victory, but this had to be one of the most likely comebacks, when you think about Oklahoma's inability to hold onto leads on the road, ISU's tendency to come from behind and win, and the fact that we were the higher rated team playing a home game at HILTON.

No, I didn't expect to come back and win but I knew it was far from over at halftime. We're the king of that. Oklahoma State's football program can tell you about how fun it is to try keeping a lead in Ames.

Seems more fitting.

Well, well, well, as the saying goes: bellyache in haste, repent at leisure.

Waitress, please bring the OP a big piece of crow with quite a few forks for the other whiners who call themselves "fans".

You are captain hindsight yes
No, I have seen too many comebacks at Hilton and with this team and know how good they are to count them out. If down 20 with 5 minutes left sure, but it is Hilton and HALFTIME.

Just because we didn't come on here and go chicken little at halftime doesn't mean we too thought the sky was falling. Let me be clear. I will NEVER not think the cyclones will win or have a decent shot at winning at halftime at a game at Hilton, regardless of the score. Never.
