For those of you saying "Good job, captain Hindsight" and all that, it wasn't exactly a wild thing to believe ISU could come back. Oklahoma has already blown huge leads on the road this year. They lost to Creighton(!!!) after taking an 18 point lead. Last year's ISU team made a habit of winning from behind. At halftime I told my family it wasn't over yet. Granted, I wasn't flat-out predicting a victory, but this had to be one of the most likely comebacks, when you think about Oklahoma's inability to hold onto leads on the road, ISU's tendency to come from behind and win, and the fact that we were the higher rated team playing a home game at HILTON.
No, I didn't expect to come back and win but I knew it was far from over at halftime. We're the king of that. Oklahoma State's football program can tell you about how fun it is to try keeping a lead in Ames.
