i got the best job ever! an answering service for funeral homes. most of the time it is dead... literally! tons of down time, great pay, good benefits and vacation time.

i watch movies, play on the internet and spendalot of time here on CF while at work

This. If Big Brother is watching, it's always better to BE Big Brother.

My favorite is when I have to clean up malware/viruses from people's machines. You can always tell when someone was doing something that they shouldn't have been doing, because they always use the same line. "I don't know how that virus got on here!" What a load of crap. We both know how the virus got on the machine, but you go ahead and play innocent.

Technology has passed by me. I long for the Good 'OL Days.

No cell phones.
No laptops.
No spam.
No server crashes.
No unnecessary email responses from the 10-15 people who should not have been cc'd in the first place, therefore, they should be smart enough to not "Reply to All."
No blocked sites on the compamy laptop.
The list goes on and on.
Technology has meant doing 3 jobs, because two people lost their jobs.
The list is because I long for the Good 'OL Days.
