Disappointed - thunderstruck is just another Jock Jams song that the students could care less about and is severly outdated. It's basically bluegrass music with the yelling of Thun-der! Not impressed.

Never liked ACDC and I'm totally unfamiliar with this song. But I love it! The guitar rip buildd up for anticipation and each new added element pumped me up a little more.

We need to teach the crowd to yell Cyclone at the points the crowd in the video yells Thunder.

"Immigrant Song" by Led Zepplin. It jumps right in, the primal scream, and the references to the frozen north as the northern-most school in a Texas-centric conference. And vikings.

Or I liked that "Warrior" song by Volbeat they used a while back during the intro video.

NO VOLBEAT!!!!!!!

Do people really think it's just going to be Thunderstruck? There is no way there is not more to it. No way it's just Thunderstruck...

Three thoughts: 1. It's a hundred times better than Smoke on the Water. 2. It fits our "Storm is Brewing" theme as well as anything. 3. Who gives a rip if Iowa is using AC/DC, it's not like it's the same song! That argument drives me crazy.

People would be mad no matter what They picked. This is a solid song that is probably the least offensive to the whole. I also don't think recruits or players will judge our program over what the entrance song is...but hey that's just me. People get too worked up about this

My favorite part about all of this? The butt-hurt from the people that got themselves all sorts of excited to what the team comes out to. At the end of the day, it's a few minutes of a song that the team will enter the field to. It doesn't actually determine if the team wins or loses.

Side note, Thunderstuck was played at my send-off for my last deployment. It was so loud I could barely hear myself think and I had chills the entire time. Since that day, it's been my favorite song. So, I'm a big fan of the team entering the stadium to it. That said, if the next home game the team comes out to some crappy rap song, it won't bother me one bit because who cares.
