Or, he could end up being part of the additional compensation the Cavs are going to seek to push the Kyrie trade through. Either way I hope he fights his way into a rotation somewhere.

Cleveland would not be a bad situation for him either.

Good place to be a building block/young talent with the likely rebuild after next season.

None of our NBA guys play enough to make me sit down and watch full games, so I don't know what to take from these comments. Wouldn't take a whole lot from the opinions of Boston fans anyway. Some of the worst on this earth.

This is unfortunate but it was a possibility after Smart signed it put Boston in the Luxery tax. Waving Naderi is a cost cutting move. Assuming he can catch on with another franchise likely because most teams can use a 3 and D wing it may be best for his career. He was really blocked for playing time in Boston.

@ShamsCharania The Boston Celtics have waived swingman Abdel Nader, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

@ShamsCharania Nader was the Celtics‘ 58th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft and spent a season with G League affiliate in Maine before signing his rookie NBA deal. He had contract guarantee date on Aug. 1.

I feel like not a lot of roster spots or money left
Fortunately, not a lot of money left benefits him, as no matter how far over the cap you are, you can always sign players for the minimum, which is all he'd be getting anyways.

A lot of teams have their rotation full already, but need to fill out roster with young, cheap players.

if he had a shot at getting another nba contract after this one its probably best he's out of boston as they are loaded with wings. Now if he can latch on to a team atlanta would be perfect he could prove himself in the league which he was never going to get the chance in boston.
