McDermott has always sucked. "Just give him time" they say. His time has come and gone and so should he.
I think UNI is the favorite to win their conference. They probably aren't great, but they have pretty much their whole team from last year, which went to the NCAA tournament. Just given that they're all back and have played together probably helps a lot.
Considering they are a decent team and this was an in-state rivalry game, it's not that surprising to me that they pulled off the win.
It is still UNI they could not touch us with a 20ft pole on a regular basis before Greg came
Since the exhibition games, our rebounding (read: opponents Offensive boards) has troubled me.

1. so you think uni is a rival of ours?
2. do they have a 14,000 seat arena?
3. do they play in a BCS conference?
4. do they have one kid that was recruited by ISU and UNi and chose UNi?
5. is there one kid that would ever choose UNi over ISU?
this is a team that we should destroy, year in and year out.
and we did, before greg mcdermott got here.
uni is not a rival of iowa state.
lol. you forgot the pirate, didn't you? Seriously, this was almost word for word what half the joke excuse posts were here. This is great stuff.
