Not exactly sure.
What about the tweets stating that university officials pressured the wife into dropping charges? If those are corroborated, that whole coaching administration could go down in a fire.

From what I remember reading, a deFries (sp?) was the main one to put pressure on her. I don't think he was a University employee. Was also thinking maybe Bruce and Meyers wife spoke to her, will Earle passed away and Meyers wife has spousal immunity so those would be hard to check if Urban directed them to do it.

Which is why they would lose their mind if they hired "little old Matt Campbell" instead of some monster name
They'd be a little less forgiving knowing he's an Ohio boy with Ohio roots....but your point is well taken.....I'm sure many think Saban should crawl over broken glass to be the Defensive Coordinator

The only possible way that could work is if Urban said "my wife never brought this up to me." Now, tell me how happy your wife would be with you if she lost her job AND you had to publicly shame her in order to keep your job. I don't even think Urban could sleep in the same zip code...
I don't know the rules, but if she is an RN couldn't she say she couldn't tell because of patient confidentiality. Are we sure she didn't report it to the police?

My replies to you were based on the statement above in which you stated that he doesn't have Ohio State roots. Nearly everyone from Ohio has Ohio State roots.

I don’t consider being from Ohio and being a fan “roots”.

In her role as an Ohio State employee and health care provider, can she legally say anything to anyone? I'm not playing devil's advocate, I legitimately don't know. Between university policy and HIPAA regulations, can she legally share this info with anyone other than superiors/police? I realize the victim isn't a university employee, but the WR coach is. The pictures weren't shared as part of a medical appointment, but not sure on the expectations of nurses.

No, HIPAA would not come into play at all. HIPAA is only a factor for "covered entities." Covered entities are pretty clearly defined by the law. Put it this way. If you're friends with a doctor, and you send him/her a picture of an injury in a non clinical capacity: "Check out this poison ivy rash!" and the doctor decides to share it with his/her spouse, there's no HIPAA violation. You're not a patient and they're not a provider in that scenario. But, let's say you sought treatment for the rash at the doctor's office, and then later texted them a picture of the rash, saying "I think it's getting better" HIPAA would be more likely to come into play, if they shared it.

simply put, HIPAA is not a reason why Urban's wife wouldn't tell him, or anyone else in authority, about this. It's just not. She's a nursing instructor, so I'm sure she's familiar with HIPAA, as well as Mandatory Reporter laws. She would not be penalized for reporting an abuse situation, and as a nurse, she would know that.

And you continue to demonstrate your lack of understanding of the Ohio/Ohio State mindset. I'll let people from Ohio carry on with dialogue with you if they wish.

I would not write off Stoops to OSU.

My brother-in-law works for OU in a fairly high up procurement role. He told me months before Stoops (and Boren) resigned that there was something shady. He claimed there were some unethical business dealings, that were not football related, but if uncovered could bury Stooops, Boren, and several of the Board of Regents.

I'm not buying Stoops quit to spend more time with family. If I'm wrong... good for him.

oh absolutely. I'm sure that's what the OSU investigation is looking into right now. Who knew? When did they know? And who did they tell? If this was an open secret and nobody ever did anything, a lot of heads could roll.

I live in Ohio so I dialogue with them every day. You should check out the Toledo guy’s posts since you don’t want to take my word for it.

Some former Florida players on Meyer:

Ajagbe explained how Meyer would psychologically abuse players:

He’s the kind of dude that would get all the information he needs to get on you and he would use it to manipulate you or he would use it against you.

“If [Meyer] know that you’re not really smart, he’ll put you in front of the team and make you do trivia. And everyone would laugh at you.”

Nixon also described a pre-game ritual where Meyer would “grab a Gatorade bottle… and throw it at you.”

“I’m sure he thought he was joking, but it’s a f*cking full bottle of Gatorade, and he’s chucking it at people.”

If the new clause in the contract was added in April, whats the statue of limitation? If it was added in April and this happened 3 and 9 years ago, I'm assuming that he will still be OK as this was not part of the contract during the time of the incidents. All depends on if there was a clause of statute of limitation or something similar.
Nobody caught this?

What if it's NOT his dream? What if his dream - which he's stated out loud numerous times - was to take a disadvantaged program like ISU and build HIS program here and create his own success here - all the while making better than average wages for him and his staff?

Maybe he'd be interested, maybe he thinks it's too early in his career? Maybe he jumps at the chance or maybe he's already shut down those thoughts with those closest to him.

Many on here need to pull up their big boy panties or at least slap a pad on all the leakage they are demonstrating here.
I don't hardly ever have inside info, but I was told cmc loves it here and the only two jobs we need to worry about are Notre dame and Ohio State.

You mean like this reply:

"This x1000..which makes being a fan of any other school incredibly frustrating...I've had many actually question why I don't (and never will) fall on the buckeye sword...."

to my post:

"I know people who are grads of Bowling Green, Akron, etc., but who consider themselves primarily Ohio State fans. It is common. Like I said, Ohio is a different kind of state in this regard. I'm not comparing him to Chiz. Just saying that 90% of people from Ohio bleed crimson and grey."

He is describing how frustrating it is to be the exception to the Ohio State fan mentality, even at Toledo.
