Beau Freyler will end up as the best safety in the Campbell era

Silas may beat out Brock for starting RB next year
[/QUOTE

I agree on Freyler. Need another corner. Brock will be a good tailback for us, that Dline he went against was no joke so I don’t know how much we can take from tonight,I thought he ran really hard and if there is a hole he will explode through it with great burst. Not many holes tonight.

Yay to every moral victory we can come up with here! The bottom line is we stunk it up early and it took 50 minutes to get it together. That’s unacceptable. It’s happened multiple times.
Not moral victory, but need to draw constructive positives as well as negatives from any game to get better.

"You blew it! This sucks! Run laps!"

Is essentially throwing the controller at the wall or unplugging before the game goes final. We lost. Learn. Grow. Adjust. Move on.

I wasn't all that impressed with Brock, I'd be a little surprised if he finished next season with the most carries. The other returning rbs look more explosive.

Its tough to judge against a D like Clemson, but I do agree. I think Silas will be the starter next year - he isn't that big though, so Brock will probably get plenty of carries.

Sort of have the same feeling. Not sure who it will be, or that they will play to the same or even similar level, but I'm expecting an early-mid season break out from one of the young guys after Brock gets most of the work early in the year, similar to both David Montgomery and Breece Hall. Brock did show some good burst though, and I'd love it if he proves me wrong and shows out.

Positives
1) The number of freshmen playing in the secondary was impressive. Freyler Purchase Tampa
2) Peterson played great. Really wish he was using his COVID year.
3) I’m optimistic about the entire defense next year.
4) X and Jaylin will be quite the duo next year.

Really like seeing the fight in Noel, he discombobulated the Dback that ended up flat on his back.

Has Peterson announced his intentions?

If Gaines plays well right out the gate his freshman year, I’m oozing at the thought of our WR’s next year.

Kind of the story of the season. Got down quickly and would fight back but never overcome the big deficit
