Either way the information is useful. If he doesn’t let us in, we can leave a flaming bag of dog turds on his porch. What's Kevin Warren's address? We need to pool some funds and send him a gift basket from CF or something

Actually, I think that's a pretty solid map. Sorry WV. You'd have made it even more so, but 16 is the stopping point.

i didnt realize how similar ISUs logo is to Ohio STs until just now.
I laugh at folks like you who state your opinion as if it were fact. Hope you'll show up to eat your words if your opinion is proved wrong.
I think you can pencil in Oklahoma State and Texas Tech to the Pac 12. The biggest question is if the Big 10 will take Iowa State and Kansas. If not, then I'm guessing we'll be in the Pac 12 and Kansas either in the Pac 12 or ACC.
The Big Ten is not going to do a damn thing that would piss off their major players Ohio State, Michigan and Penn state. If you are the President and AD of those Universities what net positive does the addition of Iowa State and Kansas bring to those institutions? AAU status perhaps? I'm not familiar with the financial incentives there. I truly do not know the answer to that. If there is no net positive there is no reason to extend an invite. Folks in those positions aren't out to do anyone any favors. Quite frankly it is out of Jamie Pollards hands. If we do not strengthen their university and conference and financial standing there is nothing he can do.
In which of those categories would ISU be the desired target?
Dont get me wrong, the Big 10 would be ideal... I just dont see it happening.
No way Minnesota and Wisconsin want Otz in their basketball conference
Probably part of the problem. Stadium sizes in the big 12 are tiny compared to sec and big 10. Before covid Tennessee's attendance was "down" at like 88,000.Kinda funny that ISU goes from the 3rd biggest stadium in the Big 12 to basically tied for 8th (with Illinois) in the Big 10.

Well, we would never get an invite to the Big 10 out of the blue. But if the SEC is going to 16 teams and the Big 10 thinks the Pac 12 will follow suit, they may feel the need to jump to 16 now also so that they can get their choice of the Big 12 leftovers before the Pac 12 gets them. With Texas and Oklahoma apparently off the table for them, and ACC schools and Notre Dame looking unlikely for contractual reasons, that leaves only the Big 12 and non-P5 schools. If that's what the Big 10 is left to choose from, we have a fighting chance at least.
Your right, the Big 10 doesn't need to add teams, but if they think the Pac 12 is going to add teams, then they probably will do so as well in order to make sure they get their pick first.
