The issue here is not whether CyDude16 broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with alcohol and women; he did. But you can’t hold CyDude16 responsible for his own sick, perverted behavior. For if you do, then shouldn’t we blame all posters on Cyclone Fanatic? And if all posters on Cyclone Fanatic are guilty, then isn’t this an indictment of all of people in these United States? Isn’t this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do what you want to me, but I’m not going to sit here and listen to you bad-mouth the United States of America! Gentlemen!

Though the CEO is a Hawk fan, I won't stop using Kum and Go. It's just a sports team so it shouldn't have any weight on whether you will use that business services or not. Personally, I would proudly fly an Iowa State flag outside of my business, if I had one. Good for him for supporting his team. Too many people "try to play nice" nowadays.

The fact that some people base their every day decisions on the simple fact that the Iowa Athletic Department MAY get about one cent from any purchase they make is truly sad.
FWIW: From what I read in the Rag one time, Kyle's wife is an ISU Alum. Maybe this will affect future large donations to ISU.
If there 2 gas stations 3 blocks apart, arbitrary choice, like there is in my neighborhood, then this Hawk support stuff will come into play and I would lean away away K&G.

I completely understand the OP's topic. I purchase my gas at Phillips 66 as often as possible and drink Dr. Pepper as often as possible since they are huge sponsors of the Big 12. A Kum and Go was very close to my house in Omaha yet I rarely went there because of the hawk owners. I don't know why people freak out over this. I'd rather give my money elsewhere. It isn't sour grapes, just my decision. I respect that the OP let everyone know.
Unrelated to the hawk-support, well maybe. Kum & Go is just terrible. Nasty places, bring nothing good to the table when it comes to convenience stops/gas stationary. Kwik Star and Casey's are where its at.
This is the only thing that matters. Kum and Go is nasty. Just skip them and go to Kwik Star, Quik trip, or Casey's
