Since 98% of the fan base wants Rhoads gone by the end of the season, who would be on the short list of coaches we'd look at? I would really like to keep Mangino on the staff, but I feel he'd get ****** off if he didn't get the HC job if Rhoads was canned and just leave. Would it be time to give Mark Farley a chance at this level? I mean there are only certain amount of coaches that would want to come here (because it can ruin your career). Anybody got any other realistic names?

Craig Bohl would be nice. Someone said something about the Wisconsin Whitewater head coach in another thread I found interesting. I don't even know what division the are in, but we suck the way it is, why not make a risky hire? If it fails it's not like we would be any worse off. We could only benefit from something like this.

I think Whitewater is D3.

At this point im not sure it could get much worse, so the list could include literally everyone. Maybe just raffle off the job each week.

The thing is, with the NDSU coaches, we are getting coaches who know what it's like to recruit but not get upper level talent. They can continue to recruit the same talent they do at their small programs, but just keep developing the players the way they did before they came here. Eventually, more talent would come in.

Maybe we can do something like a guest coach every week, with former players coming up to be that coach. Never would happen but would be cool.

Pollard doesnt know how to hire a coach. He got lucky with Fred since he was the only one that wanted that job at the time.
Art Briles, Brian Kelly, and Harbaugh all wanted the job and JP freaking hires Chizic.
