I'm not offended by swearing just by fans who think they're funny because they can say ****. Guys, I'm complaining about one fan not about the student section as a whole.

Yes because I'm sure all of your posts have a great point and you never ***** about anything. I posted that because I wanted to see if anybody else heard this guy.
Maybe they are funny....... :wink: And a student who complains about someone else swearing in the student section frankly seems a bit weak and pointless to me thats what students do
Not complaining about the swearing, just didn't like hearing the same unfunny stuff over and over again throughout the game. This included yelling at Christopherson to stop ******* up every time he touched the ball.
I guess if thats what the guy needs to do to have a good time at the game thats fine but it was just annoying, especially with how funny the rest of Cyclone Alley was the rest of the game.
I hate being the complainer on here. :wink:
How is it a pointless thread? I'm just asking why people feel the need to boo every damn call that doesn't go our way. Obviously there are times where booing the refs is warrented but not every call.
Really.... thats a bold statement to make online for a guy who just stated his opionon. Did I wake up in Russia today ?
I thought some of the calls (or no calls) Saturday were very poor. There were a few that went our way but they were petty at best and kind of a payback for the phantom foul that we got called for on the other end. I think when the fouls went our way, many were to show that they were calling the game both ways. Problem was, it was about 2 poor calls against us vs. 1 petty call for us. To me the refs did a very poor job. I'm not saying that's why we lost the game but it certainly had an impact. I think the refs controlled 3/4 of the game pro KU calls and faded to nothing once KU had the game well in had with about 8 min. left. I couldn't believe how much they let them play in the last 4 min. The way they were calling Ham in the 1st half and start of the 2nd half was unreal. Then in last 4 min. I thought he was playing just as aggressively and never once picked up the 4th.
I don't think the refs intentionally lean toward KU or another highly rated team but I think they call the game that way. I'm sure when we had Fizer and some of the really dominate teams we got many of the calls then. Oh well, nothing we can do about it but boo
Really watch us play.... the refs didnt help but ISU didnt help themselves either
During the KU@ISU game a year ago, Hilton rained down with boos for not just one, but all five of Cameron Lee's consecutive intentional fouls. Honestly, I'd never seen anything like it. I can understand booing at bad calls a few times a game, but sometimes at Hilton it seems like every whistle is greeted with a chorus of boos.
