Look at the picture in Post #10 of this same thread.well please figure out how to do a printscreen and get that on here. The other 20 pictures already posted haven't convinced me yet, but I'm sure yours will!
That shot shows the Shot Clock, not the Game Clock, and the Game Clock is the one that officially counts. Anyone have a photo of the shot with the Game Clock being shown? The clock is reading 0.00 with the ball still in hands.
At that point, aren't the shot clock and game clock the same thing? It would be pointless the have a shot clock when there is a change in possession with 1.6 seconds left. That shot shows the Shot Clock, not the Game Clock, and the Game Clock is the one that officially counts. Not necessarily, and the officials are going by the Game Clock, not the Shot Clock at that time anyway. The with less than 30 seconds to play, the Shot Clock is irrelevant and is not used as a game time reference, or that's how I remember the rules regarding official game time.At that point, aren't the shot clock and game clock the same thing? When there is less than 35 seconds left, they either turn the shot clock off, or put the gameclock on the shot clock, since it's the only time that matters anymore. Not necessarily, and the officials are going by the Game Clock, not the Shot Clock at that time anyway. Feet off the floor doesn't matterI always thought that once the feet were off the court in the process of the shot that it would count regardless of if the ball left his hands or not?
This is probably a dumb question as I don't know the rules, but in the pictures VDB's feet were off the floor. I always thought that once the feet were off the court in the process of the shot that it would count regardless of if the ball left his hands or not?
Not that it matters.......
Pretty sure the only thing that matters is when the ball leaves the players hand. That being said... I absolutely do not care at all if there is evidence showing that the shot should not have counted. The refs made the call and that is that. GMAC and the ******** Creighton fans can suck it.
He didn't get it off. When he shot it and made it I didn't celebrate because I didn't think he got it off. It was a bad call but that happens (as on the previous possession) and sometimes you just have to deal with it. Never should have come down to that anyway.
well, the horn is as irrelevant as the light around the backboard. The only thing that counts is the clock saying 0.0. And even that is irrelevant as we won the game. Also, ever heard of light being faster than sound??
The ball that caromed to Franco Harris clearly touched Frenchie Fuqua, too. Son of a *****!!!!!!!
I've got the video from cyclones.com stopped at the right moment. Not sure how to post it, but the ball is still in his hands and the clock shows all zeros.
