Flying Dog Blueberry ale. Son in law brings over a 6 pak drinks one and leaves rest. Said it upset his stomach. I drink one and feel like I'm getting flu. Give one to unsespecting friend. Calls next day and says beer was unsafe to drink. Poured remaing 3 down drain. Nasty Crap.

Heineken. For the price and the hype... it's the worst beer I've had.

It's actually pretty good if you like Skunk **** in your beer. or what I imagine skunk **** in a beer would taste like...

My vote is for this. If there is something worse out there, I don't want to tries it....

Gluek.

My roommate and I bought a case of the light and the ice when it was on special once at the museum formerly known as the Keg Shop. It was so awful... we honestly had a hard time drinking it. (We did because we were poor college kids who wanted to get drunk, but man was it bad...)

The keg shop is now a museum??? Where the hell have I been?

Agreed. Might Arrow is fantastic. Although, if you don't like the taste of hops, you would not enjoy the beer at all.

Sure, that could happen pretty easily, but if you completely despised hops, I could think of a lot worse (better) beers.

I feel that for entertainment value, all references to beer in this thread, from this point forward, should include the Beer Advocate grade and link:

Careful. Someone will call you a beer snob. And we all know there's nothing worse than that.

I live in the cradle of beer snobbery. I definitely am a self-admitted beer snob, nonetheless every day I meet people worse than me, where I think, "Man! What a beer snob!" :twitcy:

I think there are two different discussions...One is the worst cheap/****ty beer....The other is "good brewery/bad beer"

For the worst cheap/****ty beer....Milwaukee's Best Light...even a whiff is nausea inducing, and I haven't drank one in at least 10 years...

For "good brewery/bad beer"....I nominate
Shiner Smokehaus - I love to grill and smoke food, but this stuff is wrong.
Sam's Cherry Wheat - Got a couple of 2 year old bottles still sitting around.
Old Speckled Hen - I love beer, but couldn't even finish half a bottle and neither could a friend

Anything made by Hub City. Shiner Smokehaus was pretty nasty, smoky flavor does not belong in beer.
Smokey flavor belongs in a rauchbier.
Just like sour belongs in a flanders red.

Worst beer I've had in a LONG time was Madhouse's Iowa IPA. That is just a god awful beer, which is pretty disappointing. Their regular Pale Ale isn't very good either, but the IPA borders on undrinkable (I've never had an undrinkable beer before...so that's saying something).

Wild Blue is pretty bad too.
I'd also toss out Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat for consideration.

I haven't had any of the stuff from Gleuk, but I hear it's pretty awful too.
