I mean... what's the deal? I don't get it. Is there even anything to get? Am I missing the joke? It is a joke, right?

When I open a thread, I can read three, four, five, or more posts, depending on length, and then the cursor jumps back to the first post I started with and I have to scroll down past the posts I just read. This happens on the Chrome PC browser and on an Android phone running the Chrome browser. Its been like this for months, assuming the problem would be fixed, but it it doesn't appear to getting fixed.

When I was a kid, I thought the beginning of the national anthem was 'Jose, can you see?'

I may be misremembering but when was it decided that the. Big and the SEc got way more playoff revenue? And why is the ACC getting more than the Big 12?

We knew we'd be high on the list, but as of right now, Iowa State is #1 in the nation for returning production.

Which one do you want to see done next?

New York Rangers fans. Worst I’ve ever been around.

New hockey fan here. We went to several Carolina Hurricanes playoff games in 2023. This was our first experience with going to NHL games in person. It was an amazing experience and we decided to purchase season tickets.

Great and very fun season this year. We probably sold about half our tickets but went to around 20 games. I’ll be the first to admit that me and my wife are still learning the game but we have become big Hurricane fans.

They are playing the Rangers this postseason and the amount of vitriol hate and obnoxiousness we’ve experienced from these people has made me put them above Hawkeye fan.

Seeking help from financial fanatics…

I was given a loan from my company which allowed me to purchase shares in the company. The shares are worth more than the loan at this point but the company controls when I can actually sell them. If I leave the company and they don’t allow me to sell, I may need to pay off the loan myself.

Here are the options I’m considering:

1) Pull from my Roth IRA contributions. I'm well below the 59-1/2 age limit but as I read it, I can pull contributions at any time tax-free and penalty-free.
2) Private/Personal loan from bank. Interest rates for this are in the 9-10% range.
3) HELOC - We have plenty of equity and great credit. Rates here are better than private loan, but still in the 7-8% range.

My questions:
A) Am I correct that I can withdraw Roth contributions without issue? (Setting investment growth issues aside).
B) What else should I consider? Which options are best?

Long story short,

My wife gave me the green light to plan a golf trip for my 40th next summer. I’d like to go somewhere outside of the Midwest for 3-4 days but I haven’t really golfed in other states. Anybody have a recommendation that isn’t ridiculously expensive? I’d like to play several super nice courses and have things to see/do when we aren’t playing. Not too worried about price—-I plan to donate all of my plasma for the next year
