Just a reminder that the players involved in the allegations against Kansas played more minutes for Duke than for Kansas.

Billy Preston: 0 minutes played for KU
Silvio DeSousa: 323 minutes for KU over 2 seasons
Zion Williamson: 990 minutes for Duke

Oh **** off.

But it seems this only happened after KU was busted. If Preston doesn't wreck the car that was registered to his deceased grandma, or if nobody found out Sil's mother was getting paid, they would have had minutes.

PS: Wasn't Williamson leaning towards KU during the spring, but flipped and committed to DOOK in the summer (probably after Nike upped the $$ Adidas offered).

Kansas self reported the Preston situation as soon as they discovered it and sat DeSousa as soon as they became aware of his situation.

And who knows which way Zion leaned prior to getting paid by Nike to attend Duke.

The FBI case was only made by proving that Kansas and other schools did not know about the money. Now the NCAA is trying to prove the opposite while relying primarily on the evidence from the FBI case.

The ncaa in a nutshell.

BFD. The NCAA rule book and punishment for violating those rules are different from the FBI's. Your Chickens are cooked.

Desperate? For what? This whole thing is a long way from a conclusion. And if the worst possible case happens (Self fired and KU on probation) then so be it.

KU is an elite job and they can get another good coach and if they miss the tourney for a year due to sanctions, there will always be the next year. They aren't going to shut down KU's basketball program forever.

KU is an elite program because its built on cheating and buying players. This is nothing new, and has been going on for decades.

Kansas will get a full pardon or plea bargain down to the equivalent of jaywalking. Nothing will happen. NOTHING.

Larry Brown, Roy Williams, Bill Self...they all have one trait in common.o_O And it''s not that they coached at KU.

Anyone remember Darnell Jackson getting caught taking money from a booster

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darnell_Jackson
Yeah, I remember that. The majority of the "impermissible benefits" were that a guy who saw a United Way video on the plight of Jackson and his family gave Jackson's mom rides from Oklahoma City to Lawrence to watch Darnell play and paid for some meals on the roadtrip when they traveled. He also gave her a loan to pay some medical bills. She couldn't drive herself and had significant medical bills because she was badly disabled in a car accident with a drunk driver that injured her and killed her mother.

The horror.
