I think Judge has wanted to go west anyway, and him struggling in the playoffs probably makes the Yanks less likely to throw some crazy long deal at him. Rizzo is also a FA.

Maybe worse than that is I'm pretty sure they have Donaldson for over $20M next year. Losers.

Wait, they have no way out of this?

I think they have a fairly cheap buyout that kicks in after next year. But I think they have to eat his salary for next year. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

I'd eat it, that's nothing.

They need a whole new roster essentially.

Being the Yankees and all I would think the Japanese Babe Ruth would be the place to start.

Interesting on who this layoff between lcs and world series could hurt more. Astros had a bye to start playoffs and has effected them. Think it hurts Philly more who has played since the opening wildcard round and they haven't had more than 2 days off in row.

It's nuts that they have this big gap in the schedule, especially so late in the year--and with games in Philly.

That feels like more than just a normal Game 1 win for the Phillies.

Phillies hit 5 bombs last night and then get no-hit tonight.

Series tied up at 2 each.

I just saw a World Series No-Hitter! Astros 5 - 0 over Phillies! Series now tied 2-2.

Second one ever! 1956 Don Larson perfect game was the first. 66 years ago!
