I've talked about mobile redirects in the past, but Google Chrome on my 3-week old laptop is getting redirected to the following site:

It's a spoof site pretending to be a "critical" Chrome update and automatically tries downloading some file onto my computer. I'd probably be screwed if my antivirus wasn't catching it. It probably also explains why performance on this site is already beginning to suck - I'm getting the same unresponsive pages and "Shockwave" crashes that happened every 5 minutes or so on the old site. I understand the need for ad revenue, but holy hell, whatever is going on with these ads is really hurting the performance of the site overall.
