Pretty good list.

With Confluence and Peacetree not on the list this blog post lacks credibility. Also with Eric Sorenson now at Keg Creek, they are worth a mention as they are becoming a force.

I hope they do OK. Now that Olde Main is “for sale” hey have the downtown if they can make quality beer. I went a few times for the first year they were open and wasn’t ever impressed.
Alluvial, on the other hand, still kicks ass.

They were busy as hell last night. Between my buddy and I we sampled at least 8 beers. 6 of them were above average to excellent, so I think it's a legit thing, and not just an accidentally good batch of something.

Agree on Alluvial. They might be the best brewery in central Iowa.

It’s probably a good thing Alluvial is so far out of the way. Otherwise I would have drank them out of their oatmeal stout by now.
