My guess...

125: Hall/Larson/Boston
133: Hall/Terikuna/Who knows
141: Meeks
149: G Moreno/Goettl
157: Molina/Goettl/Woiver
165: M Moreno
174: Weatherman
184: Weatherspoon
197: Gadson
HWT: Smith

That could be a competitive lineup. Upper weights should be solid. Hopefully whatever weight Hall goes, the other weight will have a decent option. I'm interested to see how Meeks looks coming off a redshirt year

I'm liking most of those weights at least to be competitive, assuming G Moreno takes some momentum into the year and Meeks is more comfortable at 141, which I think he would be from what I have seen on here.

It's too bad he had a few injuries that prevented him from competing much this year. He beat up on subpar competition and lost a tight one to Dardanes. So not a whole lot to project off of. But given how close he was as a true freshman I have high hopes. 141 didn't lose many seniors though, it'll be a tough weight class next year.

Next year is going to be really tough for Weatherman still at 174. He might be looking at a third straight R12 year unless a bunch of guys drop to 165. But then in 2016 as a senior the weight class almost totally clears out and he'll be top 3-4.

Since nobody else has mentioned it... for all the consternation earlier in the season, Iowa State finished ahead of UNI at NCAAs and returns every single one of their points next year, UNI returns 11 points.

I am interested to see if Molina can maintain 157 for one more year. I would like to see him have the spot and then move to 165 for his senior year after M Moreno graduates.

I also think Boston will redshirt, Larson is a real good option at 125.

I think it'll be Wiowor who slides into 165 in 2016

In our coach's fifth year and their coach's 3rd year and given the support/facilities/stature of the 2 programs we should be ahead of them. So that's a good thing, even if it was by 2 points.

But, they will be OK. They add back a round of 12 qualifier from last year in Wolfensberger and 4 other NCAA qualifiers from this season.

I feel bad saying this but I wish Nicholson hadn't transferred and that Molina could have gotten all the mat time this year. He's a guy who could be on the podium somewhere as a senior, potentially.

Defending UNI again I see you are proud of your Panthers, let us know again where you sit at the ISU wrestling meets? May not have been the finish I was hoping for in year 5 either, but outperformed expectations going into the tournament, something I bet your fellow Hawk and Panther fans wish they could say. I'm sure similar to ISU fans your fellow Iowa and UNI fans would just like to get back to their former glory.

I agree that I wish Molina was at 157. He seems to be a hard worker and good kid. I appreciate what John Nic provided for us. I don't know if the injuries wore on him or what, but sometimes I think it affects the kids not knowing who will start the next dual.

Haven't seen this potential scenario posted yet, but I feel like there would be a decent chance that Hall stays at 125 and Larson goes up to 133, where I think he would be at least equally effective as Terukina. I just thought Larson looked way bigger at 125 than Earl did. Please let me know if I'm way off here, I'm more of a casual fan.

I think 165 to Hwt is set. I think Earl wants and is planning on going to 133 and Larson at 125. I think Larson would have more success at 125 than 133, he is stocky vs Earl is taller. I currently think both would be better at 125, but do not know Earl's weight situation.

I think Meeks is at 141, and 149/157 will be some combination of Goettl, G Moreno, Molina(157 only), Briceno, and Wiowor.

133 totally clears out as well. It was very senior dominated. 125 is all underclassmen. I bet more than a few of the top guys at 125 this year move up to 133.

We know Clark is going to 133, but add Gilman at 125, so that ends up a wash at 125.

Makes sense, easier for Earl to put on weight I bet. I knew you'd both respond to that fairly quickly haha, you guys are awesome on these wrestling forums. Thanks for all the updates and insights this season!
