You want more of that? I guess thats fine if you do..just that our team is going down hill and were going to have trouble winning 15 games is all.
i'd rather win 15 games pushing people around then win 15 games while getting pushed around. we need more players like colvin.

We need players to shut up and let their play do the talking. Then we'll win basketball games. We have the pieces, some players need to put their off court relationships to the side when they're on the court so we can succeed as a team.

We need some sort of positive direction out of this team or the program is in trouble starting next year.

Colvin may have an ego. He may have swagger. So the **** what?

I'm getting pretty sick of people and our coach whining about poor old Chris playing tough on the playground. He is exactly the type of kid we need and we need more of them. Why was the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 teams so good? Toughness.

Mac's already said this team has a WEAK mental state of mind. I bet Chris is the only hard-nosed kid on the team, this making him look like a cancer to the team or whatever. We can't afford to let a kid with his talent walk. He's the future here. Period.

Lots of code here.

I agree that we have the pieces and that's the frustrating part and also what leads me to believe that Mac was a horrible hire. We have a player on our team that could be playing in the NBA if he wanted to, yet most people are hoping for the NIT and feel it's inevitable. We have a JUCO stud in Gilstrap, a three point shooting specialist and a big time freshman PG who could've went about anywhere.

Yet, we're where we usually are with Mac. Not even average.

Also, what do you mean by off the court relationships?

Aren't we already kind of in trouble? I mean, this was our year to make the tournament and its looking like that isn't going to happen.

There are some relationship issues off the court with some of our players...some of the players have issues keeping their mouths shut and not trashing their teammates. Didn't notice the minor rift we had last year on the team, this year if you know where to watch, it's rather bothersome. Right now we've got a few too many players playing for the name on the back instead of the name on the front.

I felt that showed a bit tonight. I hope beyond hope that Garrett and Dendy are not two of them. I highly doubt Garrett is but Dendy... not so sure. This is easily Garrett's and Craig's team and I am beginning to wonder if some people have an issue with that.

Problem is that neither Garrett or Craig have stepped up to be an on the floor leader. I'm not talking about scoring, I'm talking body language, being vocal, and LEADING.

You don't pay a lot of attention to Garrett then.

Craig, while I think he could be more vocal during the game, that isn't always the mark of a good leader.

Yes.

For the team to be successful the players need to accept their roles, instead of always trying to be the superstar.
