I like the deal for the Sox. When on, Benintendi is an elite bat and elite fielder. Just not on enough.
Iroically, he got vaccinated after being traded to the Yanks last year
Bennie will be good for 3 years of that deal then decline hard. Still a good deal if he is at last years level for at least two years.
What a ridiculous saga that was! Irony is right. But not as bad as Whit Merrifield.

I wonder if some of the older guys see what's coming; computerized strike zones and don't want to deal with them.
Loved that video. I don’t like tje computerized strike zones either. Just doesn’t seem like baseball. I like the little quirks like some umpires with more pitcher or hitter friendly zones.
Should be a long line of teams ready to sign him on a bargain deal. Unbelievable the way the league treated him.
