Well then...

Rankings have been that way all year, not surprised. I am fully confident in David's ability to beat Hidlay. Deakin worries me though. It will be a tough match, but if anyone in this forum is not picking David at 157 then gtfo!

EDIT: I've also been in a 2 year struggle to find out how Deakin keeps making 157. He is an ox.

The Hawaiian got the 33 seed. If wins pigtail against #32 UVA kid then will have Lee.

Parker got 7th seed. Has some garbage kid with losing record first round.

Edit: I misread that a little. Has NW 41lber. I thought it was a EIWA scab

Degen 18 seed. Has Parriott from Purdue. Would have O’Connor with a win

Yeah...Deakin is huge.

Last time Hidlay lost? Last year to Deakin

Last time Deakin lost? 2 years ago to Kaleb Young. Lost to Hidlay right before that

Last time Carr lost? Not counting a couple of MFF, last year to Deakin

Carr has never faced Hidlay (folkstyle. Hidlay did beat Carr in freestyle fairly recently)

Some tough draws for the clones, but I’m expecting Dresser and company to have the guys ready to scrap. Can’t wait to watch our guys score some upsets early and often

Thoughts on the toughest overall weight? Heavyweight, for example, has some monsters, but can any more than 2 guys realistically win (barring injury)? I don’t think so.

133, 157, 165 and 197 look to have options.

I don’t think you can realistically see more than one guy winning heavy at this point.
197 I think is the most wide open. Maybe 149 as well. Aside from that I don’t think there is a weight that has more than 2-3 true contenders.

197 is going to the fun one.
