I know some people on this board act like saying anything bad about another school is sour grapes and everything is always on the up and up and how dare anyone say anything bad about another school, but we can bash Iowa State all we want---it's one of Iowa State fans' worst traits.
But I will never be convinced that UNLV doesn't cheat. Hell, it's not even about Juiston, he's just a dumb juco player. But why on god's green earth do 5 star athletes commit there They always suck. It can't be fun playing for a losing team. And I know some people think Vegas is the end all be all. But basketball players can find alcohol, drugs, and girls in any college town, including Ames.
I don't know that it is UNLV directly paying players. But someone out in Vegas is paying people to go there. Shoe companies? Agents that are gambling? Who knows. But money changes hands.

Not confused. These things sort themselves out, and the coach will undoubtedly runoff lesser players for talent.
True. In hindsight guys like Davenport and Thornton look better now, but you've got to swing for the fences sometimes.
I fkn hate UNLV, just hate them. Vaughn's recruitment was complete BS. remember when he was on tv giving his commitment speech? Everything he said about what he was looking for in a program matched what ISU and Fred Hoiberg was at the time. UNLV was the opposite, they were not playing in a pro style offense, and they were not scoring that many points. He out right lied about what UNLV was and represented. The reasons he claimed he went there for were just false. The real reasons had to be something else.
I'll admit I've on my trips to Vegas, I've only been around the strip and the touristy stuff but what else is there to do? Do locals go to the Casinos? Are there any college bars on Fremont St? It's not like Vegas has exclusives on hookers and blow, you can find those everywhere (I've heard)
Could've used him, but oh well. Let's get Morrow and Beverly then see what them and our young guys can do.
Have we heard anything regarding Mikyle Mcintosh? He would be a better get for next year than Juiston anyway.
He must hate America too because he thinks differently about HIS future than you do?
LETS GET OVER OURSELVES! We are friggin' ISU. JS went to friggin' UNLV. Waste all you hand-wringing angst and woe for the guys that WEAR the ISU uniform - not the ones who don't.
Putting UNLV in perspective - They lost by double digits 2x last year to Eustachy and his 7 scholarship players....

Oh calm the hell down. Saying that someone that commits to UNLV doesn't care if he is on a winning team, isn't exactly wrong. UNLV hasn't won in years. So obviously, he likes something other than winning.
