Iowa State is a talented team but I think they're not nearly as great a 3 point shooting team as they've been hyped up to be.

They don't have anyone I believe shooting over 39% from deep and as a team they're shooting 37.2%, which is 44th in the nation. They do lead the nation in 3 point attempts, so just an observation but the quantity doesn't seem to match the quality IMO.

It'll be weird seeing Korie Luscious on their squad too.

They obviously don't know who Tyrus McGee is.

I really hope their players are thinking the same thing....

Holy **** I was completely wrong. I didn't think there was scenario where Babb guarded him more than 2-3 minutes. If Babb guards Thomas, some credit goes to Ejim to being able to guard up and guard down.

That's actually a pretty decent post for a message board poster. 70% accurate. That's really all you ask from a poster.

It's not that hard to out small ISU when ISU puts their 2 (Babb) on the guy that has been playing a lot of the the 5 for OSU (Thomas). OSU would try to beat Ejim or Niang off the dribble with Thompson, the Lenzelle guy, or the LaQuinton dude (sorry lurking OSU fans -- I don't watch you when you play Wisconsin, Iowa, or MSU's 3 big offense for the billionth time).

If Thomas isn't a guy who drives the ball, Melvin makes a lot of sense. I have a feeling they'll drop him to the block if Babb is on him. I would guess there will be some switching at times. Either way, I don't think the team is going to leak the game plan for that.

I find it strange that on the OSU message board there are (so far) 39 bets that they cover the 6.5 point spread and only one for Iowa State. They also have eight bets that the game will go over the 141.5 over/under while nobody thinks it will be under. All this being said, all their posts are saying how they need to keep the game low scoring. Hmmm...
