Refs are hired by signing up for games around where they live. They put together their schedules so they can get as many games in in a week and end up back near their homes. Most have regular jobs so they need to minimize their travel schedules. It's really not that hard to understand. If you took that spaghetti strainer off your head you would realize there is no great conspiracy.

We all understand it perfectly, you look like an extreme @$$hat by continually explaining it. You look monumentally idiotic not realizing that the same officials tend to ref a lot of Big 12 games. Your act is beyond tired.

You seriously would call the theft in Ames a "win"? I'm done even acknowledging all these conference play fixed KU games.

We would all appreciate it if you were done, but I doubt it. I've been around here less than twqo months and heard you cry about it 1000 times...

You are not only ignorant, but stupid. Do you not know what hyperbole is?
You must know how figures of speech are used on message boards, given I said no such thing, yet here you are, posting "you said" and "your".

Oh good, the GRAMMAR police. The best kind of message board user. At least your mother will be proud that something came of your college degree.

With all due respect, it is people with your attitude that enable what is going on with KU and the unorganized but very real subliminal bias that referees show KU. Are you buying the KU troll anecdotes of first half fouls making things equal? Is this all a myth? Does KU NOT get the crunch time benefit of the doubt game in and game out? Do you believe that Bill Self getting a technical in the first half makes everything copacetic for a make up call later in the game for him? Hell, if I was living in your world I wouldn't make to Hilton for anything.....why care? Peace.

So you think there is some big conspiracy by the refs to help KU. Even if that was true (and it isn't) how is that KU's fault?

So why didn't Kansas win the game at Kansas State? I thought they get all the calls? There were ample opportunities for the refs to give KU that game, but they didn't. Why not?

You have to be a closet EMAW. No self-loathing jayhawk fan would try this hard. Well played purple kansas.

So they don't ALL go against us? But wait, you said... Good grief, people. Go back and read your nonsense. It's embarassing. I wonder if the level headed, mature ISU fans cringe when they see their own fan base acting like this...
Funny how every single basketball fan and analyst said ISU got screwed last year against KU..except the KU fans. Your fanbase is the one that's embarrassing. You guys have your heads so far up your ***** that you don't even realize how often KU basketball gets the benefit down the stretch.

I thought you said that KU ALWAYS gets the calls? Was the call that allowed their best player to stay on the floor for more than 6 minutes when he should have been on the bench not an important call? Did KU get that call? Then quit being a bunch of ridiculous tin foil hat fans.

And I am too lazy to scroll back to read all the whining; what exactly is the BS crunch time call that has everyone's panties in a wad?

Really? You just walked into any Jeff Whitney comments.

For me, it's an irrational hatred that I've chosen to embrace.
Kansas must be destroyed.

When there's a basket scored during the half time magic show or the frisbee dog show at an ISU vs Texas Tech game it'll be irrational. Until that point we have plenty of perfectly rational reasons to hate KU.

Get back to us when KU loses a game on a 3 pointer during a dead ball. Also you don't notice the same officials tend to do Big 12 games often over the years? These "there are no Big 12 refs" posters need to stfu, you look like idiots pretending to be smart. We all know how refs are hired and that they can do games for other conferences, you're the one who looks like a dumb@$$ pretending the same officials don't typically do plenty of Big 12 games.

If the measure of intelligence is the tin foil hat wearing big 12 refs conspiracy logic, I'll gladly go sit with the group labeled dumb ***.

Perhaps I'm missing the logic and motive though. Could someone enlighten me as to how all these Big 12 refs are in on a conspiracy theory to give KU all the calls? I mean do they fill out some sort of form to receive payments from the Big 12 offices after they officiate a KU game? Or do they just all meet before the season and determine it's in their best interests that KU win another conference tourney and anything they can do to assure that happens is the best way to go.

Okay, clearly I overrated you. It has nothing to do with grammar, and everything to do with having a better rebuttal than a 10 year-old.

You need to defend the refs to a fan base that wasn't involved with the game tonight. That sounds like a you problem.

Weird. I remember a Big Monday game last year where Withey should have gotten his 5th foul yet the ref flagged it on a guy 5 feet from the ball except for this time it was in the 2nd half during a critical part of the game. Keep digging yourself in a hole. It is rather entertaining!

At least the KU player was right next to the guy that fouled. The Texas Tech player was on the other side of the flor easily 30 feet away. And he didn't even call it on the wrong guy; he was just too stupid to hold up the right number of fingers and the official scorer was too incompetent to see if it made any sense and the rest of the crew was too lazy to see if they got it right as well.

We can all agree that college baskletball refereeing stinks and is monumentally inconsistent. It's part of the game. I would love to think that the refs are even competent enough to figure out how to skew a game in one team's favor. But as I witnessed tonight, they aren't even competent enough to figure out how to hold three fingers up on their hand instead of two.

A conspiracy or motive is not requisite for skewed incompetence. No different than phantom anticipation calls- the refs do not need to have motive to call a BS foul.
