Anyone else hearing Mike Gessell. I am hearing that. I would assume Creighton would be a good landing spot.

Seth Davis (per post mortem comments tonight on TruTV) obviously does not approve of programs making hay with transfers. He prefers programs be built the Iowa way. Did anybody else catch that? Too funny!

Seth Davis can EABOD's. He also had us ranked in the 20's almost all year, and Iowa ahead of us.

Lee seems to like the Hoosiers. Hopefully a good tournament run and visit to Ames will help him change his mind

He is being interviewed by an IU person so I doubt he would say anything bad about the team. He just called IU A frontrunner, not the frontrunner. As he scheduled a visit with ISU first, I would also put us in the "a frontrunner" category.

Since his main goal is to get into the NBA, I feel good about our chances. I'm sure Kane will show him his various awards from the season and how much Fred has helped his game. I'm sure George will also talk to him about how he allows his big men to face the basket.

(Has IU put any players in the NBA recently?)

Back onto the subject of potential transfers...

If Anthony Lee chooses ISU, imagine a starting line-up of:
Monte Morris
Abdel Nader
Dustin Hogue
Anthony Lee
Georges Niang

Bench:
Naz Long
Matt Thomas
Jameel McKay
Clayton Custer

Yes please. Sign me up for that right now.

Fred is a miracle worker with creating designing the best system for the talent he has, but I really don't see Nader playing the 2. Perhaps I'm incorrect, I guess we'll find out.

If we get a SG transfer like mason or Dejan-Jones, I think it would make sense for Clay Custer to take a RS year. Not a huge kid and could space out talent at PG. Monte will easily start next year, and naz and Georges can fill in when he is out.

I see the appeal but that would be out of character for Fred and Custer is better than people think IMO.
