When's the last time we had a left handed QB? Will make the offense operate a little differently.

This is great and all, but I'll wait to get too excited until he solidifies himself as the best college QB in the state of Iowa.

I like what I see of him. And I like his intangibles better than Lombardi from Valley.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a Waterloo West QB (Moore) throwing to an Iowa City West WR (Martin)?

Seriously, I wish we were making a play on Martin (and not just assume that we have no chance because he is from Iowa City). Notice that he has not jumped on the EIU offer. He came to the Iowa State camp and tore it up in the drills and in the 1-on-1s, so our coaches know his talents. Now that would be a recruit that would make a statement in Iowa!

I will wear my underwear on my head if Oliver Martin ends up in Iowa City.

Our staff decided not to offer Martin after he camped and it had nothing to do with Iowa

I have been wanting to see him play in person, but haven't had a chance yet this year. hope to make it when West plays CF in a couple weeks.

Getting ready for the Noland vs Moore QB controversy. I want whoever the backup is.

I've never heard anyone say why we aren't interested in him. At the Iowa State camp, they gave him the final play of one-on-ones on the Jack Trice Stadium field under the lights. And he made a perfect cut and catch on a sweet TD toss from Coach Hofher.

I didn't know who he was before the camp, but he made me take notice. He ran the drills like he was on a rail. Looked like he was in great condition and never got tired, probably from being on the Iowa City West swim team with all the cardio and endurance work they do in practice.

By "prototypical" QB, I wasn't talking strictly about his build, genius.
I understand what you're saying. But honesty AA and Steele were not built much different so I'm still having a hard time understanding what the differences to you are?
