YOU didn't see the text book open field tackles by our D? The NUMEROUS missed open field tackles on MANY different plays throughout the game?

I saw the push in the back.

YOU didn't see the improvement from this time last year? The plays we made on MANY different plays throughout the game?

I saw all you said.

Yeah - he pushed him because he was tired of carrying his ass on his back during his route.

Split is either trolling or he doesn't know what PI is. Either one is pretty sad. Trolling is probably more sad so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's just dumb.

I was worried about our offensive line this year but it looks like our defense's the biggest worry. We let a mediocre at best offense score 40+ points and they would have had 21 more if their QB could make accurate passes.

Still, overall, this team looks better than the last several.

Lazard not getting PI in overtime was my only gripe.

Otherwise just a script ive seen too many times. Just gotta take it out on Akron and then play to our ability vs Texas and things are back on track.

On the positive side, we've made great strides since this game last year. Our offense is clearly going to score some points this year. We still finished like a team trying to learn to win, though, instead of a team expecting to win. Going to have to build on this and get better (particularly on the defensive side of the ball, but a bit on offense as well).
I agree. Multiple times the announcer said that the Hacks have one of the best offensive lines, defensive front seven and offensive schemes not only in the Big Turd but the nation. Now personally I think for him to say that he has probably partaken of a little too much of Ed Podolak's bath water. But taken him at his word along with what has been parroted by toothless trailer dwellers this last week, we just took one of the best teams in the country which has the best defense known to man......into overtime.

Bailey, Lima, Kamilo, Eyi. Needs to be our Dline. No more undersized slow DE please. Atleast have a guy with size.

I'll go with this, although I'm not upset about the loss (kinda). Too many overthrown misses. Could have been a repeat of last year, just didn't have the horses to close out

Lost opportunities. Both teams made some big plays, both teams did things to bungle it away.

Should've run the ball a couple of plays on the drive when Park threw the INT (it wasn't a bad play-call, Iowa player simply got it).

I've seen fewer dropped passes in a nightclub.

Non-call on Iowa offensive-PI was turrible. Hardly call it a game-changer, but getting that call could've have hurt.

Just gotta learn how to finish. Agree with those that say we need some Montgomery type players on defense. Nice to score points and make it close, but still a brutal way to lose. This is a test of the new culture.

I thought Brian Ferentz Called a nice game, unfortunately.

Considering one of our linebackers is a QB, our QB was in his 4th start, and the defensive line is really inexperienced, I thought we played a good game.

Sucks to lose.
