Games like this is why we will not win the conference. Does anyone here thinks Kansas loses a game like this? We continue to think we can coast through the first half, and then turn it on. We are talented but do not have that killer instinct to take over the game on the road and shove the ball up their ass.
We still rely of the 3, instead of taking the ball to the hoop and getting fouled. We get the miss and then give up the rebound on a free throw.
I know, we are young, we lost one of our big man, but hungry teams find a way to win that game.

We did the first part but should blame refs for the latter

Really disappointed with two straight possessions and didn't get a decent shot; one set had a 1-pt lead, NWB hold the ball till 10-sec on the shot, then try to go 1-1. I suppose trying to get to the line, but stagnant offense

That will never get called. It will NEVER get called if you pay attention to how the rest of the game was getting officiated. That’s on NWB. Think it through. Can’t blame refs. They showed us how they were calling the game. Why would they call that?

Yep, pretty much, I thought after the other night this might finally be the year we actually contend for a championship. After tonight I dont care anymore, I'll watch the rest of the games with the expectation of 11-7 and a 6 seed.

So do they put the asterisk by the loss? It's still a loss. Team needs to learn not to let the bad calls affect them which I think they did. We also didn't play like great teams should on the road. Complaining about the bad calls is a bail out. The team didn't play like it should if it wants to win on the road.

i'll bite. how many "-ref" points do you think our team should be able to overcome on the road, on average, to earn a road win? i don't care about an asterisk, obviously what's done is done. they played hard, certainly no worse than they did against OSU in the second half. but there was a big difference here, and it wasn't just BU.

Yep, they always lose one like this, maybe even 3 or 4, not 5 or 6 like we are headed. Baylor lost to Texas Southern at home, these are games championship teams win.

I refuse to blame the refs. That’s on us. How many times did NWB drive the lane and not even hit rim? Three? That’s not even counting whatever we want to call that final play. Shayok with an awful late turnover. The bad free throw rebounding effort. Fouling their 83 and 93 percent free throw shooters.

There was a lot of bad offense all game. 3 air ball 3s, classic missed shayok layups, tht dribbling into triple teams, I could keep going.
