Ok...we lost. It sucks. We'll see how the team responds next game. Most of you have been watching Big 12 basketball a long time. The officiating has always been substandard at best. That probably will never change. As a team you do your best to rise above it and play well regardless of the guys with the whistles. The team has the character to bounce back and show they can play well after a loss. They'll do that Saturday I have no doubt against K-State. Then try to get another road win after that. Winning on the road is hard...anywhere. They'll be fine.

I don’t care if it’s Prohm or Hoiberg. Seems to me they can get us to about the same level of achievement. But if we miss the tournament you will see this fan base turn of Prohm very quickly. Having Hoiberg available is not good for his job security, if we miss the tournament this year. If we make it he’ll be fine.

You really think we're going to miss the tournament? I once heard the definition of anxiety is experiencing failure in advance. This team has given us no indication we need to go down that road.

Substandard or pro KU/Texas?

I assume you are being sarcastic. You do realize that a loss to Baylor means very little.

But hoiberg DID NOT WANT TO BE THE COACH HERE. He will never coach here. If our fans are that ******* stupid, they can go away.

Thankfully, pollard isn’t nearly as big of an idiot as you and will not get rid of him.

Doesn't matter. Kansas or Tech isn't losing that game.

We should have won by 15. We will have a good season and make the NCAAs, but that game was crippling for a Big 12 title.

Oh, but it does matter. It very much matters that the team still believes.

Honestly, even after Saturday, I didn’t think we would win the Big 12. Saturday showed that we have the potential to go on a tournament run, but I almost expected to lose this game tonight.

It’s true, Baylor got some really generous calls, but that’s life on the road for all but KU.

Remember when a few fragile fans thought we were going to mitigate mediocre rebounding by forcing turnovers? This team should not get consistently out-rebounded. OkSt, KU, and Baylor aren’t even that long.

We’ve got great potential, but that was a good reminder of where we’re at.

I can respect that viewpoint. Glad we had the high from Saturday, but realistically this sort of game is going to happen. Even to teams like Kansas, honestly.

Wiggington needs to start and play most of the game

Agree that the tourney needs to happen for it to be successful.

I don't see Pollard just swapping out for Fred though. That's absurd.

Agreed, as if nothing else it gets him into the flow of the game much earlier. Seems like he warms up and has spurts of playing like the LW we expect. The question I don't have the answer for is who sits (guessing THT) as all of these guys are capable of going off.
