Go back and look at the two point play. (Unable to copy and paste the screen shot?) We have 3 receivers out in vanilla routes. All 3 are covered like a blanket. There was no place to throw the ball. Play design/ receiver routes are horrible on this play.
I've been down on Brock this year, but I will give him (and the rest of the team) credit: they never, ever give up in a game from what I've seen. As long as the game is even relatively close, I can be sure our guys will do their best to try to win.

Why because you said so? Defensive ends have been playing up field to contain Purdy all year. I have no doubt they were cueing on the fact that we were goal line under center for this exact reason.

I watched it a few times. It was 50-50 at best. The route coverages weren't fooled but with Purdy fumbling the snap hard to say.
It’s because the play was busted from the get go. If he would’ve handled the snap clean it changes the whole dynamic of the play. He was going to fake hand it to Breece to sell the run which would have committed more people to the center ( especially with the game breece was having ) and I promise you with that many receivers out there he would’ve had an easy pass …most likely to Kolar worst case 50-50 ball that Kolar usually swallows up. Fumbling the snap changed the coverage the timing and everything so of course it looks like it was covered …..duh

Purdy's play has cost us games this season.... that's a fact. So has Special Teams and poor play calling.

Your blind love for Purdy has really made you overtly biased to the truth.
A QB can definitely put up decent numbers on the stat line and not play a good game and make costly errors that cost you the game. That happens all the time. And all those batted balls this year, some that have been intercepted, are no fluke or just a great play by the defense..... Purdy totally stares at one guy and then throws it to them. It's an easy play for the defender to make... especially against a short QB. And those batted balls you could easily make a case cost us both of our losses this year.
Purdy might go something like 17 for 25, which looks good on paper, but his misses can be VERY costly. When he missed Breece Saturday, that play could have gone a long way..... and yes, he flat out missed him. Breece could have caught it, but it would have taken a great catch... on a throw that most QB's make very easily.
Don't get me wrong, Purdy is an above average college QB, but he isn't nearly as awesome as you and CMC make him out to be. He has several flaws.... and unfortunately Manning is one of the biggest.
I would say that the Whole Team Has Regressed ....With 20 Seniors we should be Four Wins and Zero Losses....
