He found the sidelines too quickly I thought. Ran well but would have liked to have seen a couple cut ins instead of outs.

Yay to every moral victory we can come up with here! The bottom line is we stunk it up early and it took 50 minutes to get it together. That’s unacceptable. It’s happened multiple times.

I think next year X and Noel will have superstar potential with Dekkers throwing to them. Hard to judge Brock going against a defense like this, bit our running back group should be good, Kolar and Allen will be huge losses though and not replaceable next year.

I liked watching Miller get better over the course of the game at left tackle. He has never started. He looked overwhelmed by the speed of the game in the first half, but really settled in nicely in the second half. As an example, watch his pass blocking on Purdy’s touchdown pass to Kolar. The guy he was single handedly blocking (#98) is a second team ACC sophomore who was ESPN’s #5 rated overall recruit in the nation and second best DT in the nation that year.

He showed surprisingly good feet and quickness to keep that elite, athletic monster off of Purdy.

Isaiah Lee played well, improved each game & is poised for a big year. JR Singleton also played well. DL in good hands. Will miss Eni - a Cyclone Great & warrior every game.
CBs played pretty well, too. Purchase held up his end the best he had all season.
