Back to Ngoyi, the Huskers made a home run hire with WR coach Mickey Joseph. Very charismatic, recruits seem to love him. But, their roster is now flooded with wide receivers. About 20% of their players. So how that pans out, who knows. But I suspect Ngoyi was not a priority for them, and that Ngoyi saw an overcrowded room at NU. And he surely just liked ISU better.

We all can see, Nebraska has been miserable for years. But not for lack of talent. I'd say mostly due to mediocre QB play and lack of good coaching. Even so, the gap between them and us is not what we like to think. Keep in mind we lost to Texas Tech and West Virginia last year. My guess is if we played NU, it would be a close game. Win or lose, it seems the majority of our games are close. I watch every Husker game, often with friends who are fans, and they are much more competitive than what their record suggests. Under Frost they just manage to shoot themselves in the foot a lot.

Nah we would beat the ******* **** out of them

Idk guys the Nebraska fans that made their way to ames when I was in schools were always super reasonable and not uneducated drunk aggressive ********. Seems like that guy might be making a point.
Living in Omaha, everyone I know is a Husker. It has been a delight to see the Cyclones pass them by, going to bowl games while they all sit home. But it is all friendly, I never get anything negative wearing my ISU gear all over town.

In 2009, I went in a motorhome with about 14 Husker fans to the game in Lincoln. Of course they all knew another easy win was in store. But after the game we stayed a couple hours to tailgate, everyone I saw congratulated me, no one said anything derogatory. So yeah, my experience with Husker fans has never been sour. Well, one exception. After we were done eating and drinking following the Cyclone 9-7 victory, I discovered my friends had duct taped a lawn chair to the back ladder on the motorhome and put a sign on it...."Larry's Seat."

I’d love to have a game with that mess of a program. It would be fun to beat **** out you guys
Evidently Iowa is enough, I guess.
I think Trev’s deal with Frost also says he gets evaluated on Oct 1 or some other midseason date and he can be fired then. The rare midseason hook is becoming more common with the early signing date but this is the first time I can recall that it was negotiated in advance. That’s a tough way to enter a season.
That's true. Hopefully, he'll be successful. It would be bad. I want to keep Mickey Joseph.

Congratulations on your teams success.

You were on our schedule every year until your AD decided to stab the big XII in the back and ***** itself out to be a doormat for the B1G.

Look at the votes. None of the Big 8 voted with us. You turned your back, before we did. We lost our AAU status because our Medical Center is in Omaha, thanks to Texas.
