Agree. I think more MJ helps Will get more one on one's but otherwise very happy with the defense and with Beau coming back hopefully next week even better

Covered the spread by a large margin. Always a good sign especially when there were some things to still work on this week in practice for sure. That’s a good sign as those oddsmakers don’t usually miss by that much when they do miss.

Well I wanted to say that but I figured I'd dampen myself a little bit and let a young team have a off day. Next year considering we could return basically everyone but Shaw and X and 4/5 starters up front and the vast majority of the defense etc - I figured we'd have that 10 win season.

I realize there are kinks to be worked out, but…

I get the distinct impression we’re at the start of four years with a pair of really good kickers and punters.

Not blaming the punters, but if not for pure dumb luck, we could be sitting on four blocked punts this season. That’s astounding. What percentage of P5 schools take 2, 3, or 4 seasons to reach that total? At this point, I’ll just assume between giving up long returns, having chip shot FGs blocked, getting a punt blocked, whatever, STs are going to cost us 10 pts/game going forward. It’s mind numbing how we can’t improve in a huge part of the game.
