HyVee used to have a generic Ice Cream called "Fudge Nut Sundae" -- we really liked it.
Have not seen in stores in years.

Plus it's just fun to say -- stub your toe? Say "FUDGE NUT SUNDAE!!!"
OK, but that's a 1.75 quart container, so it's not THAT old. Old was a full half gallon.

If you can’t remember the associated jingle, did they really **** up?

From what I’ve seen in this thread, Tato Skins (have baked potato appeal, cause they’re made with potatoes and skins that are real) and O’Boise’s (they’re “o’boisterous”) fit the bill.

Dad still complains that AllSport went away. He doesn't like Gatorade or Powerade nearly as much.

I guess you can still get it as a drink mix but not in bottles like this anymore.
All the Cedar Rapids schools served this at their concession stands when I was in high school. Loved going to play at Jefferson or Kennedy knowing I would get one between baseball double headers!

AE Cottage Cheese. It was way better when it came in that cardboard container thingy. That stuff they sell now? You might as well slap a cow in the face.
This.

AE cottage cheese used to be hand packed. They went to the plastic container when they started machine packing it. Mrs. Velo was beside herself when that changed.

A general one is Buffalo Wild Wings. When the store near us was new they were actually good wings, but after a few years the quality has been spiraling. Tastes like they went cheap on ingredients.
The BWW by Jordan Creek has ruined BWW for me. Last time we were there it reeked of raw sewage. The staff doesn't really pay attention to you, and they have a new method of bringing out food "as soon as it's ready." While this seems like a good idea, for the love of god if you have a kid with you, PRIORITZE THE KIDS FOOD FIRST. Don't bring out mom and dads food 15 minutes before the kids meal. It ends in tears, food everywhere, and very unhappy everyone.

There used to be a Busch Copper Lager. My Yuengling Lager reminds me a lot of that beer.

Miller (red label) was around in the '90s. I liked that beer. A bit heavier than High Life. It wasn't around too long.

Hy-Vee had their private label beer, oh, say early/mid aughts. It wasn't bad at all. Shame it is gone.

Fareway used to make and sell their own CHORIZO at the meat counter. It was delicious. Gone too soon.
Are you sure it’s gone? It’s been a few months but they had it in grimes the last time I wanted it. It’s usually prepackaged in 1# packs and frozen. You just have to ask.

Haven't had a poptart in years but the chocolate caramel ones were light years better than any other kind.

Also haven’t had pop tarts in forever. I remember I liked eating the non-frosted chocolate chip ones cold as an occasional snack.

S’mores were my favorite to make in the toaster
