What a ride for Eli’s Sanders. ISU > New Mexico > USC. There’s a a chance (a small one) that Iowa States 2020 football roster will have had 3 NFL qbs on it. I’m guessing Bouman and Dekkers will both get looks.
This is super interesting. Lots of production overall. Some surprises with guys you'd expect to find success that didn't.
Aric Horne and Daeshawn Davis look like they could have helped us out this year.
Horne maybe as that’s still technically division 1, but Davis dropped all the way to D3 or NAIA
Chambers had a great season too and could have provided some depth at safety.
Collin Guggenheim just finished his collegiate career and immediately got hired as the running backs coach at Nicholls State.This might not be the right thread to post this in, but a former ISU fullback has a son that has done pretty well as an FCS running back...

And here is a strange coincidence. ISU had a running back from Oklahoma in 2009 named Beau Blankenship. After a year or two, he transferred to Ohio. There is a tight end on Ohio's roster this year that has the same name. Pretty sure they are not related. The TE is 6'3", the RB was only 5'8"

Bouman is a really good game manager. I think the Vikings will pick him up as an undrafted free agent. Not sure about Dekkers. I could see him getting a tryout somewhere, but honestly I'd be surprised if he stuck with a team.
Greg Gaines was one that I was disappointed to see go. I wonder if he'll bump up a level or two before he's through
Currently the Vikings have Daniel Jones as their practice squad QB. They would have to let either him and/or Sam Darnold go have a 4th qb on the roster.
Bouman would be a UDFA signed after the draft. Darnold and Jones and the Vikings current backup will all be free agents at the end of this season. The only QB currently signed for 2025 is JJ.
