    The arrogance of them refusing to play us was maddening. Both programs needed a shot in the arm and playing each other would obviously be a huge event. But Iowa still refused. And it filtered down to most other sports too.

    I'm old enough (unfortunately) to remember when we didn't play Iowa. Not playing Iowa is much much much worse than playing Iowa.

    I always saw that it was supposed to be five games too. But it looks like they will play six ACC games next year: Wake Forest, Clemson, Duke, Louisville, NC State, and Pitt.

    This year's FB team is an example for needing a balance. We really could have used a win over an awful KU team early in the year, and now we REALLY need a win over a mediocre WVU team this week. The grind of 5 losses in a row could turn into 9.
