Did Oriakhi play on UCONN's championship team last year? If so.......he would be a great get. Can never have enough "been there, done that" attitude and experience. With Lucious and his time at Michigan State....that would be great. Then..get the experience Lockett brings to replace SC....and we just reload. The young bucs would then greatly benefit from being exposed to this winning attitude and experience, thus EXPECTING to do it themselves when it's their turn.

Completely agree and I would really like to see us press and run.

I feel that Fred has built a team for next year and he will only go after players that will either fit into that system or his future plan. I probably need to start reading more football threads because I am starting to get really excited for basketball season again.

Fred said something to the affect after the Kentucky game that our ability to defend Kentucky's guards down the stretch suffered dramatically when Bubu fouled out. Go back and check it.... that's what he said. He basically said he was our best defender out there that night. If you don't think that kid deserves a scholarship, you're crazy. But like I said, if Bubu's willing to forgoe the scholarship so Fred can bring in more depth to win more games, that's great.

And if you think top 20ish talent like Lockett and Oriakhi are willing to come on board but Fred is going to be magnanimous and give it to Bubu, you're crazy.

Completely disagree. We may run and press next year, and if we get Lockett I think we will. However Fred has often said that he will not recruit players for a specific system. He will get the best players available and find a system that works for them. i.e. this year with Royce at point forward

Once again, every lineup that puts Melvin on the bench is erroneous. Melvin was the 7th leading rebounder in the Big XII last year and 5 of the 6 in front of him will not be returning meaning he is the 2nd leading rebounder that is returning in the conference.

Really the starting lineup doesn't matter. Look at how much McGee played this year. I think we'll have 7 (if Lockett comes) guys who will play 20+ minutes regardless of who starts or not.

Ejim will start whoever thinks other wise, really? He is a big part of our offense and defense.

Yea I think transfers are a complete waste of time, they are trouble makers, thugs and the like, why would anyone want them, you could never mold a bunch of transfers into a winning team.
