If that happens, I hope KU fans don't send him n-word laced death threats like EJ got from some ISU fans after his "classless" dunk. That would be inappropriate.

I'd hope we don't have any players flip off the student section or make inappropriate comments towards cheerleaders. That would be awful.

Just to reiterate how I feel about BDJ..... last night about 10 mins into the game or so I posted on here that I had already felt he was the best basketball player on the entire court and that it wasn't even all that close. And I stand by that statement.

Obviously Niang is our leader and he holds this team together, but BDJ is the most talented guy we have. I haven't seen much of Nader or McKay, so that could change, but I doubt it. He is that good folks.

I think in the end we are going to discover that we got the better one and done player between him and Vaughn. He's better than Kane IMO by quite a bit. Kane was a stud for us and he's as tough as they come, but his game was pretty limited really. BDJ can do it all.

Easy Sparky, let's see how he does in the Big12 before we crown him.

We had a 6'8" guy and a 7'1" guy stuffed by the rim last night, can we all just agree that BDJ's dunks weren't a problem?

I'm fine with the fun and showboating, but I disapprove on account of style considerations. I always hated that pose dunk when Malone did it. Is he posing for the Swimsuit Issue, doing the sprinkler, what is that? If I was a Viterbo player and saw that I'd probably undercut him the next time he went up for a shot, but then again I have anger issues.

Fred's teams have fun, have swagger, but don't seem to ever be showing people up. There's nothing wrong with this. However, I am thankful for BDJ's dunk and the overreaction it was drawn out from a few people to distract me from football.

Bryce DeJean-Jones reading this thread: "Geesh, try do do something nice to fire up the sellout crowd that came to see us in an EXHIBITION game and people complain?"

And for those feeling bad for Viterbo, they probably thought those dunks were cool as hell also. I hope he does a couple of these in Iowa City followed by shushing the crowd. I would ******* lose it.

Also, for those of you complaining:

If he made a habit of doing this consistently I could understand how that would start rubbing people the wrong way but it was in a freaking exhibition people! I'm glad to have a player like him and hope Fred can start getting a steady stream of players with that type of Elite athleticism.

Dear BDJ,

Please tone it down. Cyclone fans obviously don't like showboating. Not one bit.

I don't like the posing, but I'm old school. Anything players do to essentially say "Hey everybody, look at me!" rubs me the wrong way. If they did the same thing when they missed a dunk or turned the ball over, then I'd be okay with it.

The only reason I don't like them isn't because I think it's unsportsmanlike but because these types of dunks are more likely to be missed than something more 'basic'. A spin, reverse, under the leg slam counts for just as many as a two hand stuff, heck or even a layup.
